The vote is open for the Best Climate Solutions 2018 Award! The winning project of the Best Climate Solutions 2018 Award on “Communicating climate change threats and opportunities” will be determined by a combination of both the online voting results and the assessment by the international jury of experts (read more). To give the most support to your favorite candidates, please use the following guidelines.
You have until October 15, 2018 (5.00 pm CEST) to cast your vote!
HOW TO VOTE
Step 1: Register to the Best Climate Solutions platform
Only registered users can rate their favorite projects and increase their chance of winning. Before starting to vote, register to the Best Climate Solutions platform by completing the “Sign up” form available on the Sign up/Login page (see image 1).
Please make sure to provide a correct and functioning email address. Soon after you have registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Follow the link in the email to complete your registration. If you do not receive the confirmation email (please check also in our Spam folder), please send us an email at info@cmcc.it .
Step 2: Login to the Best Climate Solutions platform
After completing your registration, go back to the Best Climate Solutions website and insert your username (or email) and password in the “Login” form available on the Sign up/Login page (see image 2).
Step 3: Vote!
You have a single right of vote for each project in the run. You can give as many projects as like a ranking from 1 to 5 on the four criteria:
- viability;
- innovation (at the technological, social, or organizational level);
- expected/observed impact;
- scalability.
You may be into one of these two cases:
A. You already know which candidate/s you want to support → Go directly to its project profile page and click on the yellow Vote button in the right column (see image 3).
In the popup window that appears after having clicked on the Vote button (see image 4), assign it 1 to 5 stars on each criterion, with 5 being the highest score. For instance, to give a 4-star rating, click the fourth star to select it. The first, second, third, and fourth stars will fill in. Beware, once you click on the starts, your rating is automatically saved and cannot be changed.
After giving your rating, close the popup window to refresh the page and see the updated voting count on the project’s profile.
B. You do not know which candidate/s you want to support, and you want to browse all the projects to select and vote your favorite/s (or even to rate all of them) → All participating projects are published on the Best Climate Solutions platform at www.bestclimatesolutions.eu/solutions/. On the blue/yellow box select the “Award” button (see image 5) and scroll down to view all the projects in the run.
To rate one or more candidates, continue as in the case A.
Once you finish with your rating, please log out by clicking Logout on the main menu (see image 6).
